FELCO, TESDA ink MOA for Royu Market Development Program
FELCO and The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) yesterday, May 2, to work together and support the technical learning of trainees enrolled under the Electrical Installation and Maintenance National Certificate (EIM NC) II program. Thirty-eight (38) TESDA Institutions will benefit in this yearlong partnership. “I made a commitment to improve facilities of our TESDA Schools and training centers. Contributions such as those included in this memorandum of agreement will help us realize this goal.” the TESDA Secretary said.
TESDA Director General, Secretary Isidro Lapeña emphasized the importance of partnerships with industry leaders like FELCO in achieving the said objective. “FELCO is privileged to be part of TESDA’s program in developing the skills of our Filipino workers in the field of electrical works. It is noteworthy that both FELCO and TESDA believe that our people are our most important asset in nation-building. The objective of the initiative is to help students learn through practical application the value of quality products and how it impacts the community as a whole.” FELCO Commercial Director noted.
